Hello! My name is Landon and I’m a senior majoring in Community and Regional Planning. This is my last semester and I am excited to be able to take this class before I leave as I’m a massive sports and history nerd. I watch just about every sport especially soccer, college football and basketball, and Formula 1. My favorite teams are Liverpool FC, McLaren in F1, the Hurricanes, Panthers, Charlotte FC, and App State of course. I played a lot of basketball growing up and in the past few years started to play 5v5 and 7v7 soccer for fun. I’m hoping to expand my understanding of sports around the world as I grew up in a small bubble really and just focused on local teams. I’m also very passionate about growing the accessibility and popularity of soccer in the US and can’t wait for the 2026 world cup.
