For my final project, I decided to focus on American Football in Mexico as a whole. From my research I was able to find out why American football is a newer phenomenon in Mexico and what that can mean for future teams, internationally. From my findings, Mexico has potential to be a contender to further the expansion of the NFL. However, nothing is guaranteed, but Mexico still poses the highest potential. I’ve come to the conclusion that the players and fans would love for this to happen, but there is backlash financially by the NFL to start these expansions as it would potentially lose them millions of dollars to do so. However, the history and the intentions are there.
