Lucha Libre: A Cultural Case Study, was created with the idea of making a brief digital exhibit showcasing the sport and its culture. The exhibit showcases a brief history on the sport for context, before diving into the culture itself. The culture is explored through explanation of the the sport itself as well as showing some snippets of the sport. Wrestlers with brief descriptions and pictures are shown showcasing broad and rich examples highlighting why they matter. Finally the exhibit shows how the sport has expanded into broader culture like movies and comic books. The goal being to show the culture surrounding the interesting and obscure world of lucha libre while even expanding outside of it into new media.
