“The possibility to create a more gender-inclusive space was hindered by the class and racial benefits that initially provided these women a privileged position in society at large.”
I did some looking at the top 25 LPGA golfers to see the different races that occupy the top 25, 22 were white, 22 were Asian or of asian descent, 1 Hispanic woman, Gaby Lopez.

“The Lack of of women in golf and high ranking corporate positions”
I don’t think this is an accident, women have always been discriminated against in the workplace both intentionally and unintentionally, the unintentional when men do handshake deals on a golf course cutting women colleagues that don’t play out of deals or they get less favorable treatment.

“Unspoken and unwritten rules to discourage women from entering the bar, they usually socialize at the club restaurant after finishing a round of golf.”
These unwritten rules in golf are because of its heritage of being a game that’s been around since pre-Victorian times. This heritage and the general thought of sports being masculine and a way for men to “get away from their wives” definitely does not encourage women to participate.
