This was a very interesting read for me learning about wrestling in mexico. To me it felt a lot different than how it is in America. It was like there was more passion and it meant a lot more to the people. The first thing that stood out to me was the mask that people were wearing and what they meant. It is a very big part of the wrestling culture in Mexico. Behind every mask there is a meaning and it is different for each wrestler but not every wrestler wore a mask. The second thing that stood out to me was how much wrestling meant to the women in Mexico. Women in Mexico were not treated the best. So wrestling for them was an escape from the life they were living. So because of that women took a lot of pride in wrestling.
