For my research project I focused on the US women’s national soccer team. My research question for this project was how did the USWNT rise to the popularity that they have today? Some of the factors that led to the rise in popularity were the passing of Title IX, and the growing media coverage the team received throughout the 1990s.
For this project I decided to use Sutori. On Sutori I created a timeline to present my information. I was able to breakdown each section by decades which allowed me to focus on the important events during those years.
I enjoyed this project and thought it was a great way to share our research about a topic that we are interested in without having to write a paper. Also with sports history, the use of media including pictures and videos are important so choosing a platform that allows us to use these resources is beneficial. Here’s the link to my project.
