Hi, my name is Chandler Pippin. I’m looking forward to exploring the culture of sports in the Americas as well as approaching sports from a academic lens, something I’ve never done.
Even though I went to middle school and high school in Raleigh, I was born in Charlotte and lived there while I was younger, and have always been a fan of the Panthers. While it’s unfortunate to be a Panthers fan in more recent times, growing up watching the Cam Newton/Luke Kuechly era in Charlotte is something I’ll always have a connection with.
