I have grown up watching all of the sports and playing most of them. Soccer was the one that stuck with me and I played from when I was little through high school. When I was 12 years old I was watching ESPN and they had the Copa Del Rey Final on and it was between Real Madrid and Barcelona. In this game Gareth Bale had a goal that stuck with me and I became a Madrid fan after that moment. Me and Bale had similar hair styles and we played the same position so I was instantly a fan. I have watched and followed soccer from this moment and I feel like it is one of the reasons that I am fascinated by history and world history because of soccers connection to the world.
